To secure a room upgrade request (choose this on your application) you must pay in full in advance for at least one term, as room upgrades are allocated on a first-fully-paid basis. We recommend paying the full term at time of confirmation or shortly after to avoid disappointment, as room upgrades are in high demand.

For those who need a visa, please factor in 12 weeks for processing when planning your preferred intake in Switzerland.

Accepted and Confirmed students receive a brief outline of the visa steps and your César Ritz Colleges advisor will review the general process with you upon acceptance. It is the student’s responsibility to apply for the visa through the nearest Swiss Consulate and to ensure the application is submitted at least 12 weeks prior to the school’s check-in date.

Students should factor in the 12-week visa processing period when applying for a specific intake. Visa approvals can and may be issued in less than 12 weeks, so if you’re concerned about your ability to obtain a visa in time for your preferred intake, please connect with your Verto/César Ritz advisor who can give you the best advice at that time.

Once you have paid your confirmation deposit and received your confirmation package, you should immediately begin gathering your documents to support the visa application and be prepared to submit it to your nearest Swiss Consulate no less than 10-12 weeks before your program start date.
